Juriview for Word: privacy and Microsoft 365 data
This page describes the data used by the “Juriview for Word” add-in. It supplements the Juriview privacy policy, which applies to legal bases, retention periods and the exercise of your rights.
Microsoft 365 permission

The add-in requests no other permission. It has no access to your mailbox, OneDrive or other documents.
Data read by the add-in
- The text of the open document or selection is read only when you start an analysis, drafting task or question.
- The .docx file is read only when you click “Save”, to save it to a Juriview request.
Writing to the document
Rewordings are applied with Track Changes and comments are inserted only when the user clicks. The add-in never modifies the document automatically.
Signing in to Juriview
Sign-in takes place in a Juriview window, using your email and password, Google or your company’s SSO. A single-use token establishes a separate pane session. No password is entered in the pane. You can end this session with “Sign out” at the top of the pane.
Artificial intelligence
The text is analyzed by third-party AI models selected by Juriview. It is not used to train the models. Organizations can ask Juriview to disable AI features.

Hosting and security
