Juriview for Word: support

The Juriview for Word add-in brings the Clark AI assistant and document saving to a Juriview request together in a side pane.

This add-in is reserved for Juriview client organizations. You need a Juriview account provided by your organization. Not yet a client? Email contact@juriview.com.

Please include your organization, your Word version (web, Windows or Mac), what you were doing and a screenshot of the Juriview pane.

    What does the add-in do?

    • “Clark” tab (AI): analyze the open contract against a playbook — clauses, risk level, missing clauses and compliance score. Rewordings are applied with Track Changes and comments are inserted only when the lawyer clicks.
    • Clark also helps draft selected text: rephrase, correct, translate or draft a clause, and answer questions about the contract.
    • “Save” tab: save the Word document to a Juriview request.

    Install the add-in

For your organization (Microsoft 365 administrator)

    1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center, then “Integrated apps”.
    2. Add “Juriview for Word” and assign the add-in to the relevant users.

    For yourself

    1. In Word, open “Insert” or “Home”, then “Add-ins”.
    2. Search for “Juriview for Word” and add it.

    4. In “Save”, choose the Juriview request to save the document to.
    5. To end your session, use “Sign out” at the top of the pane.

    Common issues

    • The pane is blank : reload the pane and try again.
    • The pane says “connection expired” : sign in to Juriview again.
    • Comments or Track Changes are unavailable : your Word version is too old. Update Word.
    • The document cannot be saved : documents over 50 MB cannot be saved with the add-in.

    Remove the add-in

In Word, open “My Add-ins” and remove “Juriview for Word”. For your organization, use the Microsoft 365 admin center > Integrated apps.
