Privacy: Juriview Connect for Microsoft Teams
This page describes precisely which Microsoft Teams data the Juriview Connect app uses and why. It supplements Juriview's privacy policy, which applies to everything else: legal bases, retention periods and the exercise of your rights.
Last updated: October 24, 2026.
Who we are
Juriview SAS publishes the legal management software of the same name. The application is available at jurivapp.com. Contact: contact@juriview.com.
What Juriview Connect reads
- Only the message on which you launch a Juriview Connect action (“Create a request” or “Add to a request”): its text, author, date and link in Teams.
- The Microsoft Entra identifier of your account and of your organization (tenant), sent by Teams with each action, to recognize the linked Juriview account.
- The app reads no other conversation or history, and requests no Microsoft Graph permission. It writes to Teams only when you choose to share a summary in the conversation.
What is recorded in Juriview
- Create a request: the request and the original message, in its history. If artificial intelligence features are enabled for your organization, the message text is analyzed to prefill the title, module, priority, due date and a summary.
- Add to a request: the content, editable before sending, joins the history of the chosen request, with its author and date.
- The link between your Teams account (Microsoft Entra identifier) and your Juriview account, until you sign out.
Sign-in
It takes place in a Juriview window (jurivapp.com): no password is entered in Teams. The sign-in link is single-use and valid for 10 minutes; only its hash is retained. If your Microsoft 365 mailbox is already connected to Juriview (see the Outlook Microsoft 365 privacy page), your Teams account can also be recognized through it.
Hosting and security
- Juriview data is hosted in the European Union.
- All exchanges use encrypted connections (https).
- Each organization's data is isolated through access rules enforced by the database itself.
- From Teams, you only see and modify requests for which you are the owner, creator or a member.
Artificial intelligence
Prefilling and enriching requests use artificial intelligence models from specialized providers. Upon request to Juriview, AI features can be disabled for your organization.
Sub-processors
- Hosting of the website, application and database (European Union).
- Microsoft: routing of Teams actions to Juriview (bot service).
- Artificial intelligence model providers: the features described above.
- Application technical error monitoring (European Union).
- The detailed list of sub-processors is available on request at contact@juriview.com.
Remove access
- User: in the Juriview Connect windows in Teams, “Se déconnecter de Juriview” (sign out of Juriview).
- Administrator: Teams admin center, Manage apps, Juriview Connect: block or delete the app.
